Start developing automotive-grade applications free of hardware dependencies using digital twin technology in the cloud.
The SDK for EB corbos AdaptiveCore provides a comprehensive set of building blocks to enable in-vehicle use cases across all automotive domains - from infotainment system, ADAS/AD applications all the way to the vehicle control system.
Based on the field-proven Adaptive AUTOSAR middleware stack from Elektrobit, this new SDK enables developers to get started within minutes with their new project. EB corbos AdaptiveCore is an Adaptive AUTOSAR-based middleware, tailor-made for automotive, providing multi-OS support for POSIX operating systems for safe and secure high-performance controllers. It provides features required for modern software-defined vehicle (SDV) platforms and comes pre-packaged with key functionalities such as vehicle communication over SOME/IP, diagnostics management, and access management.
Together with industry-leading AWS cloud services and the native use of ARM architectures for bit parity (AWS Graviton), this SDK enables fast and modern development workflows, instant scalability, and worldwide reach for every automotive software developer.
Highlights
- Accelerate development and save costs. Simplifying application development across various controllers and vehicles, accelerate time to market with hardware-independent software development, scalable and worldwide available infrastructure.
- SDV - software-defined vehicle at its core. Modern software development with bit parity between cloud and automotive processor architectures using AWS Graviton, wide set of pre-integrated building blocks for SDV such as high-bandwidth automotive Ethernet and multi-core support.
- Adaptive AUTOSAR. Automotive-grade industrialization - based on the Adaptive AUTOSAR standard, verified and tested via industry-leading test suites. Built-in support for cybersecurity regulations, e.g., UN R155.

64-bit (Arm) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
The SDK for AdaptiveCore image provided here is a specialized Ubuntu image tailored for use on AWS. As such, it functions like a standard Ubuntu Linux terminal and can be utilized accordingly.
Launch:
Upon launch, any available instance type may be selected. However, we recommend starting with the pre-selected instance type "t4g.small" for optimal performance. To gain access to the virtual machine, a key pair must be provided during launch. Detailed instructions on the requirements for the key pair and how to create and import it can be found in the AWS EC2 documentation (refer to "Additional Resources"). At a minimum, it is necessary to configure a security group that allows SSH access for network settings. By default, access is permitted from anywhere (IP range 0.0.0.0/0), but this configuration can be adjusted during runtime as needed.
Accessing the Instance:
Instructions on how to connect to an AWS EC2 Linux instance can be found in the "Additional Resources" section. For an enhanced developer-experience please follow the instructions in the "Getting started with the SDK". Please note that the root login is locked and disabled. Instead, use the username "ubuntu" for login purposes.
