Overview
Just as having a network firewall is important to network security, the presence of DB Firewall is equally important for ensuring a secure database. DB Firewall audit database activities, captures data transactions, parses and indexes data assets, and uses patented machine learning technology to automatically identify potential internal and external threats. Access control to DB servers can be configured to deny queries and connections from specific IP addresses, DB users, and clients based on user specification. Data masking function is also available to prevent sensitive information from being accessed by unauthorized or malicious entities. For more secure database access, the Database Firewall has the ability to integrate with AD and LDAP for user authentication. It is also embedded with High Availability (HA) and load sharing capabilities to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
