You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Connect to EC2 Linux instance using username "admin" Port 22, and run following commands: #sudo su #sudo apt update. Next, open a browser window at http://<public_ip>/vtigercrm. You must wait 10 seconds after executing these instructions in order to view the Vtiger CRM Installation Dashboard. Follow the onscreen directions for complete installation. Enter the Database details as follows: Database name: vtigerdb ,Database user: vtigeruser, db password: <Enter your Instance ID>.
