Subscriptions have no end date and may be cancelled any time. However, the cancellation won't affect the status of an active license if it was purchased outside of AWS Marketplace.

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Important: You must use a separate, previously installed and configured Commserve to control this Media Agent/VSA. The basic steps to configuring this instance are as follows:

    1. Subscribe to the Media Agent/VSA combination AMI in the AWS Marketplace.
    2. Launch the Media Agent/VSA software instance in AWS.
    3. Access the instance by utilizing RDP.
    4. Double Click the Commvault Configuration icon on the desktop.
    5. Follow the prompts to complete the setup wizard and establish connection with the Commserve. Once complete, all configuration and administration should be done through the Commserve console.
