The PolarSeven Optimisation and Licensing Assessment (OLA) is a Certified AWS Partner led engagement that evaluates your on-premise Windows environment to define an optimised compute and Cloud infrastructure that will reduce your Windows operational and licensing costs when moving from on-premise to the Cloud.

PolarSeven’s OLA is a free assignment which includes all four steps in full:

  • Strategic Assessment: Scope the Workloads and review your current Windows licensing arrangements.
  • Discovery Session: Collect the Data using the AWS Application Discovery service.
  • Analysis: Analyse the Data to help you better understand your workloads and provide an estimate of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of running on AWS.
  • Reporting & Planning: We provide a final report with tailored recommendations and a detailed plan of your next steps.

If you choose to engage PolarSeven to migrate your Windows Workloads, we will migrate your first 5 servers free of charge (our only caveat is you have a minimum of 50 servers).
