Security Assessment is designed for CSPs who have the required federal sponsor and can successfully complete the Security Assessment Report. The goal is to achieve FedRAMP Authorized status, which means the CSP has met all the requirements for FedRAMP authorization.

ConMon (Annual Security Assessment) is designed for CSPs that wish to maintain their FedRAMP Authorized status. The annual assessment ensures that the CSP continues to meet the FedRAMP requirements and maintains its FedRAMP authorization.
