An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

- Learn about the product here: https://cloud-servers.ortusbooks.com/aws/windows-based-images Search for Ortus at the top of page https://thinkwithwp.com/marketplace/ 2. Click the continue to subscribe button 3. Click launch a new instance 4. The default instance and AWS free tier selected is t3.micro. We suggest c4.xlarge. Select Next: Configure Instance Details. 5. Click the "Next: Add Storage" button. 6. You are now on the "Add Storage" page. Next: Add Tags." 7. Click the add Tag. They should be Key equals Name and Value equals Ortus Lucee CFML engine 5.3.9.141 (Windows 2019). Click "Next: Configure Security Group." 8. Go to the source column and select MyIP so that ssh will only be enabled for your IP address (VERY IMPORTANT). At the type, column select HTTP and leave port 80 selected. 9. Create a new key pair and put it in a folder that you have access to. 10. Click the button labeled "View Instances." 11. Select your running instance. Look for "Public DNS (IPv4)," copy it and paste it in a browser. The Image comes with CommandBox CLI installed.
