Parrot OS is a Debian based operating system designed for security experts, developers and privacy aware people and can be viewed as a completely portable laboratory for a wide range of cyber security operations ranging from pen testing to reverse engineering and digital forensics.
It also contains everything you need to build your own software as well as you can browse the internet privately and securely using tor network.
With this ARM64 based Linux VM, you will get Parrot OS GUI desktop environment up and running in minutes accessible via remote desktop client.

Usage instructions
- Login to instance using SSH via key based authentication. Use "ubuntu" as userid (refer https://docs.thinkwithwp.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/putty.html for details on how to connect using putty/ssh)
- Once connected using ssh/putty, run below command to connect to parrotos terminal from ssh command prompt. sudo docker exec -it parrotos /bin/bash If above command returns "Error response from daemon:" error, then run below command to start the parrotos container and then run above command again. sudo docker start parrotos
- You can connect to the VM's desktop environment from any local windows machine using VNC protocol or local linux machine using Remmina. Note: If you don't have VNC installed on your Windows machine, first Install VNC Viewer as per your device from - https://manage.realvnc.com/en/download
- In the "VNC Viewer" wizard, copy the external ip and click connect. Accept the encryption warning. 5.Now you are connected to out of box ARM 64 based Parrotos GUI Linux environment via Windows Machine.
- After your first login, Open terminal and run below command to change the root user password. x11vnc -storepasswd Once passwd for root user is set, re-login with root user and new password.
