What do you like best about the product?

Most helpful about informatica I'd definitely a powerful UI. I have worked in ADF, talend. But I feel informatica has best UI.
Having connector for different data products is a big advantage.

What do you dislike about the product?

There are no dislikes rather it's an improvement is required. Required stronger , scalable engine or cluster that can be controlled by user at each repository level a model similar to cluster management in databricks.

I sometimes feel when it's comes to caching the data, significant performance improvement is required.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's regulates privacy and reduce risk of exposing sensitive data in a cloud environment as well as user activity.

What do you like best about the product?

The tool is user friendly and provides a vast amount of data integrations. The UI is intuitive and flexible enough allowing you to either use drag and drop functionalities or just use the API to code custom solutions.

What do you dislike about the product?

It mandates storing metadata in the cloud solution itself and that can be a disadvantage at times. The license fee and pricing is a bit on the higher side as well.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being a iPaas solution,it helps integrate into all kinds of systems and we use it for implementing a process in our legacy system to enable close to real-time reporting in our product.

I like it because they are a team of expert professionals in the field they have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage my data platform and it adapts to the changes in the needs of my business.

What I don´t like is that they have very few offers because they do have good prices but with very few options for one to choose the best plan, for the rest, they are wonderful in every aspect.

They have really helped me a lot to solve all my data because our restaurant handles a large number of clients and it was very difficult to have precise information on each one. And with this platform I have been able to solve that problem, now I can serve my clients more easily.

Sometimes the firewall issues can come inbetween and hinder a smooth operation.

The privacy solutions are designed to help discover personal and sensitive data. Also to understand data movement, link identities and analyze risk and remediate with AI-driven automation.
It has a few features like automated sensitive field detection, threat detection and role-based access. This tool can be used to mask vital data with fake realistic data to perform various actions in the development and quality assurance environments.
Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services allows organizations to create data profiles, analyze information, and define custom quality rules to detect issues using data discovery functionality.

What do you dislike about the product?

Pricing is a bit on the higher side and not everyone can afford to use it.
Data masking still needs refinement.
Documentation is not available.
Technical knowledge required.
Implementation of complex SQL queries is difficult.
Error messages should be more precise and not confusing.

The informatics installation process has a wide variety of options, including remote, and local support on-premises.
The process of building the pipeline is very straightforward.
Debugging mode is great while searching for issues.
The ability to schedule jobs is exceptionally helpful.
