Overview
Megh VAS for Smart Buildings is built on its Real Time Streaming Analytics Platform with AI+ acceleration that can be deployed on any platform from edge to cloud. Megh provides its AI based, fully customizable, cross-platform Video Analytics Solution (VAS) that uses data from cameras and sensors to reduce security risks and improve operational efficiencies for smart cities, smart factories, and smart buildings creating business value for enterprise customers.
VAS is powered by the Nimble Application Framework which allows customization across the entire Analytics pipeline for use-case specific accuracy. Engineered to seamlessly leverage hardware acceleration across CPU, GPU, FPGA and SOC platforms, the framework makes VAS a truly high-performance, real-time analytics solution.
Megh has two product offerings:
- VAS Suite solution for Service Providers supporting use cases for public safety and worker safety with the VAS Portal providing a single pane of glass for managing multiple sites.
- VAS SDK toolkit for System Integrators and Enterprises providing them total control of the pipeline for building custom applications.
VAS automates the use of video as a signal for real-time actionable insights. As the demand for edge analytics is increasing rapidly with the explosion of streaming data from sensors, cameras, and other sources connected by 5G and other access technologies, Enterprises want to extract intelligence from these data streams to gain actionable insights and create business value. VAS provides enterprises with this capability with a highly performant, flexible and scalable solution. It supports various use cases including public safety in smart buildings, inventory tracking in manufacturing, video surveillance for security and worker safety in manufacturing and logistics. The VAS can scale to hundreds of remote IP cameras and process the streaming video in real time displaying the violations, alarms, and real-time statistics in web dashboards.
