    Overview

SUSE Linux Enterprise Micro leverages the enterprise-hardened technology components of SUSE Linux Enterprise and merges that with what developers want from a modern, secure, immutable OS platform. As a result, you get an ultra-reliable infrastructure platform that is also simple to use and comes out-of-the-box with best-in-class compliance.

    Highlights

    • Immutable OS. Immutable design ensures the OS is not altered during runtime and runs reliably every single time. Security signed and verified transactional updates are easy to rollback if things go wrong.
    • Perfect for Containers and Kubernetes. You can easily combine SLE Micro with the latest cloud-native technologies including Rancher, RKE, Longhorn persistent block storage, and K3S, the world's most popular Kubernetes distribution for use in low resource, distributed edge locations.
    • Low maintenance. SLE Micro with its small footprint and modular architecture makes it easy to customize, build images, configure, deploy, update, and automate. So, all routine maintenance functions like patches, updates, config changes are seamless.
