Overview
Accenture's Cross-Platform UX Builder (ACPUB) is a software platform for user experience management that allows to define and configure the sitemap and application user interface of a digital product service delivered across multiple end-user device platforms with a low total cost of ownership in terms of user experience development and evolution. The application user experience can be curated and continuously refreshed to optimize brand engagement and product sales. Design patterns are provided to integrate ACPUB to an existing service platform and associated APIs to facilitate time to market of the solution. Personalization of user experience is supported through targeting features such customer segment, location and device platform. UI branding is supported such as definition of logo and color schemes. In case the Provider has multiple brands, it is possible to support multiple sites using the same DSF platform each with its dedicated site map structure, branding look and feel and editorial users.
ACPUB consists of two main components:
UI Builder - this is the editorial console for creating the UI structure and associated rules for UI components that will drive the end-user experience based on certain contextual information. UI Composer - a run-time set of APIs that can be called by the apps to get the UI contents, specifically menu and page, dynamically based on the configurations made in the UI Builder and the context of the device requesting the UI.
Together these two components allow Providers to adapt the UI across devices via a single point of configuration reducing the need for costly application and software updates for a large number of UX changes that need to be done on a regular basis.
