    Overview

    Play video

H2O's Driverless AI is an artificial intelligence (AI) platform that automates some of the most difficult data science and machine learning workflows such as feature engineering, model validation, model tuning, model selection, and model deployment. It aims to achieve highest predictive accuracy, comparable to expert data scientists, but in much shorter time thanks to end-to-end automation. Driverless AI also offers automatic visualizations and machine learning interpretability (MLI). Especially in regulated industries, model transparency and explanation are just as important as predictive performance.

Some really great features, maturity might be less than expected

    Reviewed on Nov 01, 2019
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
UI is nice, UX allows for turnkey process, but let's you tweak every hyperparameter you can imagine. Training paradigm in underlying algorithm is cutting edge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deployment works very well, but scaling is a bit more of an effort. Appear to be built on top of their open source libraries, which is good AND bad (see below).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because Driverless AI uses a lot of open source components, support cases that span the two teams don't get resolved as quickly as you would like. They appear to bound to release planning and are reticent to release hot fixes for things that were advertised to just work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to exercise the deployment parts of the product at the scale you expect to be at.
