Overview
Tom Sawyer Graph Database Browser is the first and only application that enables graph database users to see and understand connections in their data without extensive knowledge of the query language or schema. Built with Tom Sawyer Perspectives, it makes graph and data visualization and analysis easy to do.
Users of all skill levels can view four unique graph layouts and run social network and link analysis, clustering, pathfinding, and more analytics using the toolbar and menu options. Try a live demonstration at https://www.tomsawyer.com/graph-database-browser .
Many organizations have large volumes of tabular data with important relationships that are hard to detect without visualizations. Identifying patterns in data is critical in areas such as fraud detection, customer intelligence, cybersecurity, IT and network management, logistics, legacy system migration, and business transformation. The product enables users to rapidly see and analyze critical relationships in their data by instantly creating interactive diagrams.
Users can quickly verify the contents of and changes to Amazon Neptune, Neo4j, and Apache TinkerPop databases. They can easily customize the look and feel of elements in the graph too.
Want to create a custom graph application? Use the SDK in Tom Sawyer Perspectives. It has a powerful integrated graphical development environment. Request a free evaluation of Tom Sawyer Perspectives at aws.marketplace@tomsawyer.com .
Highlights
- The application automatically detects the schema of Amazon Neptune, Neo4j, and Apache TinkerPop databases, and displays labeled data types
- You can customize the appearance of elements and visualize them in orthogonal, hierarchical, symmetric, and circular graph layouts; search, filter, zoom, and explore the graph; and run link and social network analysis and more all from the toolbar
- You can easily browse your data and use the toolbar to identify key entities and clusters in large datasets for fraud detection and customer 360 research; find the shortest paths in complex systems and IT Networks; and run Cypher, Gremlin, or SPARQL queries

64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
-
Ensure the security group rules for inbound traffic enable HTTP port 80. For convenience during launch process, you can create a new Security Group based on seller recommended settings. For more information:
https://docs.thinkwithwp.com/vpc/latest/userguide/VPC_SecurityGroups.html
-
Once the instance is running, access via a web browser: http://{instance_url}/databasebrowser The instance_url is determined by your instance host name or IP. On first login, your credentials are:
User: admin Password: {instanceID}
The instance ID is available in the description of your AMI in your Amazon console. Once you sign in, you will be prompted to change the user email and password.
-
To enable user self-registration in your AMI, run the script: /home/ec2-user/enable-user-registration.sh. If you want to again restrict user registration, run the script: /home/ec2-user/disable-user-registration.sh
-
To change the instance_url, add environment variable TS_GDBB_VIRTUAL_HOST and restart your instance. Or, use the update script /home/ec2-user/tsgddb.sh. Uncomment the line # export TS_GDBB_VIRTUAL_HOST="$my-host.com", update it with your hostname, and then execute the script so the changes take effect.
