Overview
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for technical support and maintenance provided by ProComputers.
This is a minimal Debian 10 Buster image, mainly used as a common base system on top of which other appliances could be built and tested. It contains just enough packages to run within AWS, bring up a SSH Server and allow users to login. Cloud-init, as well as all Debian security updates available at the release date are included.
Root login is disabled and only the 'admin' user is allowed to connect using ssh public key authentication.
Built using official Debian 10 repositories and a single 8 GiB instance volume. Both root partition and the corresponding filesystem are automatically extended if selected volume is bigger than the default one.
This Debian 10 AMI is ENA enabled.
If this image does not suit your needs, please choose another one from our popular image list below:
Highlights
- In every Debian 10 instance, login using 'admin' user and ssh public key authentication. Root account is disabled. Image is built using Debian 10 official repositories.
- In all our Debian 10 instances, root partition and filesystem automatically extends if volume is bigger than the default 8 GiB one. Using GPT (GUID Partition Table) instead of MBR (Master Boot Record). This allows instance volumes bigger than 2 TiB.
- Within our Debian 10 AMI, Enhanced Networking using ENA (i.e., Elastic Network Adapter) is enabled. SELinux is disabled by default. All security updates available at the release date are included.
