Overview
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 is a supported and maintained Linux image provided by Citadel for use on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). It provides a stable, secure, and high performance execution environment for all workloads.
Citadel believes that security is essential and must be foundation to any organization running their workloads in the cloud. Cloud environments and operating systems are not secure by default. Launching our AMI will reduce cost, time, and risk to an organization.
Please note that this is the default SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 AMI that our security professionals recommend. Citadel provides ongoing security and maintenance updates on a quarterly basis to all instances running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 AMIs.

Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes
This is an updated version of Frontline Launch VM. Included now is a Frontline Audit security report and also an auto-update feature to allow you to have the latest version of the image on launch. Updated with file permission fixes.
