Overview
Progress Flowmon for AWS is a software solution specially designed for the analysis of cloud and on-prem traffic. It processes traffic data from vTAP, both VPC Traffic Mirroring and third-party, collects flows (NetFlow/IPFIX/VPC FlowLogs) and analyzes them to provide insight for resolving service degradations or maintaining the availability of business-critical applications. The solution does not rely on proprietary flow data sources, making it well-suited for deployment in heterogeneous environments. Performance and storage capacity varies by license.

Flowmon tool overview and review
Best for real time network traffic monitoring and security
Flowmon undeniably is a great platform that offers all the above features.
Flowmon processes telemetry data like ip flows and raw packets from various network devices which is stored and can be later used to analyse the network traffic and create data visualisation dashboards.
With organisations moving all their infrastructure to cloud, best part is that it supports monitoring cloud and hybrid environments.
It is easy to use and integrate in an environment, they provide great customer support.
It helps resolving network issues including incidents such as servers with outdated certificates, a faulty server hogging the bandwidth with incorrect configuration etc..
With the collected data, we can create customised dashboards that provide great visibility into network level data which helps with retrospective analysis.
Flowmon collector is suitable for both on premises and cloud environments, it provides insights of both the environments in one UI which eliminates managing multiple tools for monitoring.
