An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
After instance deployment, click on Manage in the AWS Console to see the running instance and public DNS address to continue the configuration of the FortiRecorder-VM. Connect to the secured Web UI via the public DNS address: https://<public DNS address>. Default login credentials are with a username of 'admin' and the AWS Instance ID value as the password. For any CLI configuration/settings, SSH is required to log into the CLI. Login with username 'admin' and the private key of the key-pair supplied during instantiation.
To add additional disk space to the instance, select Create Volume from Volume configuration under Elastic Block Store. Choose storage type, and size. Set the availability zone the same as your instance and select Create. Choose Attach Volume from the actions, select your instance, a device name and click Attach. Restart your instance, go to the System->Storage page, choose the new disk, and click Add to Logical Disks.
