The HALO Trust is working with AWS to clear mines faster and save lives in the world’s conflict zones
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is investing $4 million to support the work of the HALO Trust and trial the use of artificial intelligence (AI) with drone imagery to locate minefields and other explosive remnants of war in Ukraine. Innovating with AWS will enable HALO to make wider use of the high-resolution drone footage it collects, including testing machine learning (ML) models for identifying mines.

AWS Partner Transformation Program (PTP) expands to help AWS Partners accelerate their cloud business
AWS is expanding its Partner Transformation Program (PTP) with a suite of Targeted Transformation Modules (TTMs) to help AWS Partners accelerate their cloud journey through tailored guidance and support. These new TTMs, available now, provide topic-specific workshops designed to complement standard PTP engagement. Developed in collaboration with our partners, the two TTMs currently available to partners are the Cloud Enablement Engine (CEE) and the CFO Cloud Conversations (CCC).

Advancing health equity with ET3 programs and AWS
eVisit’s role as a participant in the AWS Health Equity Initiative provided me with the opportunity to serve as a panelist at this year’s AWS Summit Washington, DC in May. I presented alongside other AWS health equity program partners to outline our collective efforts to increase access to healthcare services in underserved communities, reduce disparities by addressing social determinants of health (SDoH), and leverage data to promote equitable systems of care.
