AWS Marketplace is excited to announce an expansion of our software as a service (SaaS) Policy, effective May 1, 2025. This will expand our catalog to welcome all SaaS products in AWS Marketplace, regardless of where the product is deployed.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has shared a new set of features that provide comprehensive invoice and PO management for AWS Marketplace purchases. Customers using PO features in AWS Marketplace and the AWS Billing and Cost Management console can receive invoices from AWS that reflect the applicable, customer-defined PO number. This helps streamline payment processing and cost allocation.

AWS Marketplace offers several programs to Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Channel Partners to help scale your business through AWS Marketplace. Now, ISVs and Channel Partners can onboard more quickly by taking the new Introduction to AWS Marketplace channel programs course and other role-specific courses. These seven 30-minutes courses are designed to accelerate training of sales, operations, marketing, and alliances teams to AWS Marketplace channel programs and features.

In this post, I show how to use AWS Marketplace Vendor Insights to access security profiles associated with vendor products listed in AWS Marketplace. The AWS Marketplace Vendor Insights dashboard presents compliance artifacts and security control information for software products to help buyers complete their vendor risk assessment.
