Integrating Next-Gen Firewalls with VMware Cloud on AWS
As customers start to build their hybrid network architectures, they often ask us how they can leverage next-generation firewalls to protect their data in VMware Cloud on AWS similar to what they do in their native AWS environment or on-premises. Some of these customers already leverage APN solutions, or other firewall vendors and want to leverage the same partner solutions in their VMware Cloud on AWS environments. This post covers the design required to leverage a next-generation firewall with VMware Cloud on AWS.
Migrating Applications from Monolithic to Microservice on AWS
As cloud becomes the new normal, many businesses want to use its potential to improve their customer experience. Organizations all around the world are using the breadth and depth of AWS services to become more cloud-native. APN Partner Tech Mahindra helped Telia use AWS to modernize their customer information management (CIM) platform from monolithic to microservice for flexibility and scalability. Telia is a Europe-based telecom provider with 20,000 employees serving millions of customers across the globe.

How Tulip Leverages AWS to Bring No-Code Manufacturing Apps to the Shop Floor
No-code manufacturing app platforms such as Tulip are a critical tool for manufacturers undergoing a digital transformation. These platforms allow frontline engineers to easily build, on their own, shop-floor applications to increase the productivity, quality, and efficiency of their operations. By leveraging AWS to deliver their manufacturing app platform, Tulip lets manufacturers of all sizes access the benefits of the cloud.
Making Application Failover Seamless by Failing Over Your Private Virtual IP Across Availability Zones
One of the core principles of building highly available applications on AWS is to work with a multi-Availability Zone architecture. In the unlikely event an AZ fails, this allows applications to continue running using resources in the other AZs. Customers use different strategies to handle the routing of user traffic to different components of their applications across AZ, ranging from load balancers and Elastic IPs to Domain Name Resolution. In this post, we present an approach to achieve failover of a private IP address across AZs.
How to Backup and Recover an Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with N2WS
Amazon VPCs are an essential part of any cloud-first networking strategy. Subnet and routing table configurations, along with security settings, are at risk from day-to-day operational errors. N2WS offers a backup solution that takes the guesswork and manual labor out of backing up and recovering Amazon VPC configurations, with the ability to automatically restore across AWS Regions and accounts. N2WS is an AWS Storage Competency Partner.
How to Securely Access Amazon Virtual Private Clouds Using Zscaler Private Access
When you are migrating private applications to AWS, how your users and administrators will access them needs to be considered. VPNs do not provide the granular control desired by a Zero Trust approach, as users have access to any resource on the network and not just specific resources they are granted access to. Learn how you can implement a Zero Trust approach to access applications hosted on AWS using Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
How to Centralize SSH Key Management with Userify and AWS CloudFormation
As teams begin to build their architecture on AWS, the question often arises about how to manage access control to all of their instances. Userify solves this problem quickly and easily by providing Userify Cloud or, for self-hosting, a single instance or multi-Availability Zone cluster that runs in your Amazon VPC. Userify Cloud is a fully managed service that can be used across your VPCs and AWS accounts with no installation needed.

AWS Service Catalog Launches Solution Blueprints in GitHub for APN Partners to Leverage
A number of APN Consulting Partners have told us they would like to have access to a repository of solution blueprints that address common business patterns. To meet this need, AWS Service Catalog is now providing easy access to common and foundational AWS-based solutions and reference architectures in GitHub. There are currently five blueprints from AWS solutions architects on GitHub, and we plan to establish a formal process for APN Consulting Partners to submit reference architectures.
