Age UK is the UK’s largest charity dedicated to helping everyone make the most of later life. They have the vision to make the UK a great place to grow older and they work every day to achieve this by providing companionship, advice, and support for older people who need it most. Scalability, cost savings, and security are key in delivering Age UK’s services to more than 7 million people every year. In 2012, Age UK turned to AWS to help revamp their technology to better support the older generation in the UK.

IMAGINE: A Better World, a Global Nonprofit Conference, brought together hundreds of nonprofits from around the world for a unique, interactive learning experience. The AWS Credit Program for Nonprofits offers $1,000 of AWS Promotional Credits annually to 501c3 organizations or global equivalents. With diverse missions to promote health and welfare, achieve medical breakthroughs, protect wildlife, and support many other causes, nonprofits around the world have unique needs. In collaboration with TechSoup Global, this program provides organizations in 50 countries with subsidized access to on-demand services to more easily store large files, keep data secure, and deliver engaging content to local communities.
