AWS DevOps & Developer Productivity Blog
Introducing the ‘Develop, Deploy, and Manage for Scale with Elastic Beanstalk and CloudFormation’ Series
Next Monday (April 7 2014) we’re launching a 5-part blog and Office Hours series we’re calling “Develop, Deploy, and Manage for Scale with Elastic Beanstalk and CloudFormation”. In this 5-part series we’ll cover best-practices and practical tips & tricks for developing, deploying, and managing a web application with an eye for application performance and operational efficiency using AWS CloudFormation and Elastic Beanstalk.
We’ll introduce a new part of the series as a blog post each Monday. You’ll have a few days to read, digest, and work through the samples, then join in a live Office Hours Hangout 3 days later on Thursday to dig a little deeper into the week’s topic and ask your questions.
The first post will be published on Monday April 7 and we’ll conclude on May 5. All application source and accompanying CloudFormation templates will be avaialable on GitHub. Topics include:
-
April 14 – Elastic Beanstalk in VPC and Patterns for Authoring Multi-Region-Friendly CloudFormation Templates
-
April 21 – Building Regionally Agnostic Applications with Dynamic and Distributed Application Configuration using Amazon S3 and Elastic Beanstalk
-
