SAP on AWS Partners Raise the Bar for Customers

In this blog, we’d like to acknowledge some of the achievements of our partners and how you can work with them to accelerate your own SAP migration and transformation on AWS.

Highlighting Customer Success

In 2022, our partners showcased customer success through case studies, videos, blogs, and webcasts.

Nissan in Europe turned to Accenture to support their complex migration that included over 200 interfaces. Dole Food Company leveraged a decade of trust in Syntax to provide a seamless transition from private cloud to public cloud. Marc O’Polo trusted Lemongrass for their SAP migration due to their long-term experience and scale-out approach for greenfield systems. Beautycounter worked with Protera on their transformation to SAP S/4HANA, which greatly expanded the capabilities available to end users. Klimasan chose RISE with SAP on AWS with partner NTT DATA Business Solutions to transform their use of data across manufacturing, sales, accounting, and post-sales. Mila worked with Horsa to migrate their data warehouse, ERP system, and document management system in less than a month. UnionBank partnered with eCloudvalley on the migration of SAP S/4HANA to AWS, and the addition of multi-AZ high-availability design to meet business requirements. PCBL Limited worked with IBM to identify processes to modernize and provide training and support to get their data and employees comfortably settled in their new SAP landscape. YPF worked with SNP to migrate 33 productive instances, 120 environments, and 1,500 interfaces that connect with other business applications to the cloud. Schneider Electric utilized Wipro to move their on-premises SAP system onto AWS, improving digital supply chain operations.

Validating Expertise

Customers have requested additional mechanisms to evaluate and confirm the technical skills and cloud expertise of our partner network. To assist with that ask, we worked with our internal and external SAP on AWS community to develop the SAP on AWS – Specialty certification, launched in April of this year. Partners TCS, IBM, Capgemini, DXC, and Syntax showed their commitment to the certification by training and enabling their SAP teams through boot camps, worldwide training sessions, and participation in our multi-part AWS PartnerCast series.

Demonstrated Technical Proficiency and Proven Success

To ensure partners were proficient in implementing and innovating SAP on AWS, we launched the AWS SAP Competency program in 2013. Since its inception, 78 partners have taken this journey with us, and we welcome our partners Infosys, Tesselar, Alestra, Proatech, Telmex, Kyndryl, and Horsa who achieved the SAP Competency in 2022. The AWS Competency program gives customers confidence that they engaged with a partner who has the experience, tooling, methods, and best practices to streamline their SAP projects.

New Resources for Your SAP Migration to AWS

SAP customers rely on SUSE for their innovative, reliable and secure enterprise-grade open source solutions, including SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications, a purpose-built Linux operating system optimized to run production-ready SAP workloads available in the AWS Marketplace. Our recently announced enhanced collaboration with SUSE will provide customers migration acceleration programs and additional investment areas to ensure smoother migration of customers’ SAP landscapes to AWS.

Getting More from Your SAP Data

Customers tell us that getting more value out of their SAP data is central to their enterprise strategy and partner solutions across data management and analytics help customers across all industries to get more value from their data. Atos’ AWS Data Lake Accelerator for SAP leverages the cloud-native properties of AWS for a secure, reliable, and scalable offering for companies looking to create a data lake environment with their SAP data.
