Check Out the Updated AWS Certified Developer – Associate Exam

We are excited to announce the AWS Certified Developer – Associate exam has been updated to reflect the latest services and best practices related to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Developer role.

Once you are signed in to aws.training, select the “Certification” tab and choose “AWS Certification Account.” From your certification account, click “Schedule New Exam” and you will be redirected to our testing vendor, PSI. Select the “AWS Certified Developer – Associate” exam to complete your registration.

What’s New

The updated version of this exam has been restructured to cover five domains: Deployment, Security, Development with AWS Services, Refactoring, and Monitoring & Troubleshooting.

Though there are no prerequisites for the new exam, we recommend candidates have one or more years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining an AWS-based application and an understanding of AWS services, uses, and basic architectural best practices.

We have also released an updated exam guide to help prepare you for the new exam.

Both versions of the exam will be available until November 19, 2018—the date the previous exam is retired.
